Andrea (Smithson) is a veteran interfraternal communicator and a life-long grammarian and editor. After a 10-year career in small-town newspapers, she transitioned to the fraternity communications industry with her first stint at the ZBT International Headquarters from 2013-2018 as Director of Communications. Most recently, she worked at the North American Interfraternity Conference in a senior communicator role before returning to ZBT. She is a volunteer for the Fraternity Communications Association, her Zeta Tau Alpha local alumnae chapter and for her alma mater, Franklin College.
She is a proud native Hoosier — now based in Indianapolis with her husband — but loves to check out new places and spaces through travel, reading and YouTube treadmill videos.
