Emerging Leaders Institute

The Emerging Leaders Institute is a leadership program that focuses on providing leadership education and development to brothers with a focus on brothers within their first two years of membership in the Fraternity. The program seeks to provide brothers with opportunities to explore their definitions of leadership and to begin applying strong leadership behaviors and practices to their everyday actions.

Brothers have the opportunity to network with their peers from across the country, develop a leadership legacy plan and identify future aspirations in their chapter/prospective chapter and beyond.

2022 Program Info

The institute is January 7-9, 2022, in Lake Wylie, South Carolina, which is a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina.

  • When: The program begins on Friday, January 7 at 5 p.m. Eastern. Your flight should arrive at CLT no later than 3 p.m. Eastern. Return flights must depart after 2:30 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, January 9.
  • Where: If you are flying, the nearest airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). Travel stipends from ZBT are available for participants who must fly to the program. ZBT will provide a shuttle to the program location from the airport.
  • Who: Future leaders of ZBT chapters, typically in their first two years of brotherhoood.
