Awards

Each year the Fraternity recognizes individuals (undergraduate, alumni and friends of ZBT) and chapters for achievement in programming, recruitment, philanthropy and many more areas. It is our pleasure to honor those who commit to the success and stability of ZBT. The dedication of these individuals and groups helps promote our Mission and Credo.

Chapter Awards

Honoring chapters and prospective chapters as a unit for their commitment to brotherhood and fraternal success, this category includes annually awarded honors such as the Brummer Cup for Most Outstanding Chapter and the Edwin B. Meissner Award for Most Improved Chapter. See more.

Individual Awards

Celebrating the individual brothers and friends who make ZBT a better organization, this category includes annually awarded honors such as The Roswell “Buddy” Messing Award (Most Outstanding Individual Brother) and Maine-Heffer Award for Most Outstanding Chapter President. See more.

Special Awards

Lauding those men and women who exemplify fraternal excellence and serve as role models in living our Credo, Mission and Ritual, this category includes periodically granted honors such as the Man of the Year award, the Heritage Award and  Richard J.H. Gottheil Award. See more.

NIC Awards of Distinction

The North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) Awards of Distinction recognize individuals, chapters, councils and organizations annually to highlight those who exemplify excellence in leadership, service and education within the fraternal community.  Zeta Beta Tau is a Governing Council organization among NIC members.

Laurel Wreath Award celebrates unique programs and initiatives influencing the fraternity community and greater world. The following ZBT programs have been recognized with a Laurel Wreath Award.
