Rosh Hashanah

October 2 @ 7:00 pm - October 4 @ 7:00 pm

Rosh Hashanah, the new year in the Jewish calendar, is a fall holiday. It is both a time of rejoicing and of serious introspection, celebrating the completion of another year while also taking stock of one’s life. Traditionally, Jews eat sweet foods — like apples and honey — to symbolize a sweet new year. The traditional greeting is Shana tova, meaning “Have a good year,” given during the days from Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur.
