Through personal assessment, group discussion, and multimedia, participants will define bias and honestly reflect upon one’s own biases (both explicit and implicit). Participants will gain an understanding that even though bias is automatic, with practice we can learn to change our thinking to allow a fuller, more nuanced understanding of others.
