Welcome 2026-2027 Undergraduate Supreme Councilors

Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity is proud to announce three brothers have been appointed to serve as Undergraduate Supreme Councilors on the governing board of directors of the Fraternity.

ZBT reserves four voting director roles for student leaders. Undergraduate Supreme Councilors are the voice for all undergraduate brothers on the Supreme Council. They are full voting members participating in the governance of the Fraternity.

Newly appointed brothers are:

2026-2028 term

Owen F. Blount

Alpha Zeta (UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA) 2028

Brother Blount has served as Chapter President and Philanthropy Chairman at Alpha Zeta. He majors in finance and has an internship with an energy solutions company in the accounting department.  He is from Atlanta and also works as a lifeguard and swim coach.

“Zeta Beta Tau has played such an important role in my life. The community and brotherhood that it has given me is indescribable. Serving as an Undergraduate Supreme Councilor is an amazing opportunity for me to help serve ZBT the way that it has served me.”

Mateo Heitner

Alpha Alpha (purdue university) 2029

Brother Heitner is from the Miami area. At Purdue, he majors in industrial engineering and finance and serves his chapter as Operations Director and on the IFC executive board. He is very involved in robotics competitions and development, and founded a non-profit to grow international robotics education and opportunities for children.

“ZBT has been one of the most meaningful and transformative parts of my college experience. I have a deep commitment and passion to ZBT. I believe in its potential to continue evolving and strengthening across all chapters, and I want to leverage that to improve both my chapter and nationals alike.”


Starting their second year of service are two upperclassmen.

2025-2027 term

Adrian G. Marincas

Rho (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign) 2027

Brother Marincas, originally from the Chicago suburbs, is Finance Director at Rho Chapter. Besides ZBT, he is on the IFC and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. He is majoring in accounting and finance and interning at an asset management firm this summer.

Theodore (Theo) L. Shriber

Phi Alpha Alpha (The George Washington University) 2027

Brother Shriber is from New Jersey, majoring in finance and data science with a concentration in real estate. At GWU, he’s on the executive teams for Chabad, IFC, TAMID and the Stock and Portfolio Management Clubs. In his Chapter, he served as Risk Prevention and Wellness Director.


To qualify for service, councilors must be a brother in good standing and have a graduation date no earlier than two years after the annual International Convention. Undergraduate Supreme Councilors are selected by the International President after a rigorous application and interview process. For the 2026-2028 term, ZBT was fortunate to have many great candidates and we thank everyone who applied. Applications for next year (2027-2029 terms) will open in spring.
