Welcome 2023-2025 Undergraduate Supreme Councilors

Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity is proud to announce three brothers have been appointed to serve as Undergraduate Supreme Councilors on the governing board of directors of the Fraternity.

ZBT reserves four voting director roles for student leaders. Undergraduate Supreme Councilors are the voice for all undergraduate brothers on the Supreme Council. They are full voting members participating in the governance of the Fraternity.

Newly appointed brothers are:

2023-2025 term

Benjamin W. Cook, Epsilon Mu (University of Kansas) 2025

Brother Cook is Chapter President of Epsilon Mu. Originally from Dallas, he’s majoring in Marketing and Jewish Studies at KU. Besides ZBT, he’s a Student Ambassador and Business School Ambassador and on the club lacrosse team.

“One of my biggest priorities in life is to give back to organizations and people who have given so much to me and helped me grow as an individual. I also love being involved with something bigger than myself and representing an organization with values that align with my own,” Brother Cook said.

Matthew I. Pardo, Sigma (Tulane University) 2025

Brother Pardo is majoring in Business Management at Tulane. He’s involved with Chabad on Campus and plays club baseball. He is from Los Angeles.

“This service allows for the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to Zeta Beta Tau. I aim to encourage members to engage with me and share their feedback, concerns and ideas,” Brother Pardo said.

2023-2024 term

Joshua A. Roseman, Eta Xi (University of North Carolina at Charlotte) 2024

Brother Roseman is Recruitment Director for Eta Xi and also Vice President of Recruitment for the UNCC Interfraternity Council. He is from Newton, N.C., and majors in marketing and organizational management.

“I believe in leading by example. Having many positive leaders in our Fraternity is the greatest thing ever,” Brother Roseman said. “Ultimately, we all came to college to succeed and grow.  But we can grow much more together.”

Completing his second year of service in a 2022-2024 term is Jeffrey M. Harberg, Alpha Delta (University of Southern California) 2024. Brother Harberg is a pre-law student from Dallas. He recently received his real estate license in Texas.

To qualify for service, councilors must be a brother in good standing and have a graduation date no earlier than two years after the annual International Convention. Undergraduate Supreme Councilors are selected by the International President after a rigorous application and interview process. For the 2023-2025 term, ZBT was fortunate to have many great candidates and we thank everyone who applied. Applications for next year (2024-2026 terms) will open in spring.
